Annika is head of the Marketing & Communications department in Valcon. She has a true passion for branding, marketing, communications and leadership. She has focus on bringing value to the business and to be on top of the newest trends and tendencies in order to ensure that Valcon’s brand is being seen, heard and experienced constantly. She is known to use her breadth of view, empathy and impact to interact on every level of the company and to make things happen.

What do you think is the most interesting dilemma on the business agenda right now?
Besides having a passion for my work with marketing and communications, I have a true passion for technology and how it develops both businesses and our everyday life. The next generation is born into what the present generation is still learning. This learning curve is steep for our current C-suite, and I think that digital transformation is one of the most important topics now and for several years ahead.

The best advice someone ever gave to you?
Always remember that your temper is also an expression of your passion and commitment.

What does The HOW mean to you?
Being part of a management consultancy where we actually make a difference and care. We do not just leave a strategy folder but stick around until it is implemented. And we recruit the best, both academically but also personally. That makes it so much easier to tell the world that we are the best when I feel and see it.
